Espagne: La Catalogne adopte une résolution sur l’indépendance
People gather with two banners that read » Independece » and « disobedience » during a protest outside Barcelona’s City Council on October 13, 2015 in support of Catalonia’s regional government president and leader of the Catalan Democratic Convergence (CDC) Artur Mas, the Catalan Minister of Education Irene Rigau and the former Catalan vice-president of Catalonia’s regional government Joana Ortega who are charged with civil disobedience and misuse of public funds for holding a non-binding ballot in November 2014 in which Catalans were asked to vote on whether their region should remain part of Spain. Spanish judges today started questioning Catalan officials charged with breaking the law by holding a vote last year on their contested drive for independence from Spain. AFP PHOTO / LLUIS GENE
